What I did today

Decided I had better move my lazy butt and get some things done for the craft show I have coming up in June, thank goodness they changed it from early May as I sure wouldn't have been ready for then! Having looked at so many pretty blogs out there I seem to be leaning towards those sort of colourings with things I am making now, I just hope they go here.

The first two pics are done by decoupaging serviettes, really quick and easy, [as long as you don't glue the serviette to your fingers first!] The pic in the frame is another from my favourite book. I love the saying about the Prince, brought tears to my eyes when I first saw it.
The birdhouse is yet another atempt to paint roses, keep on trying, these are so so, but still not happy with them. Hopefully someone will like them.

This was a gold frame I had hanging around, painted it cream and sanded it back a little, some pretty scrapbooking paper and sweet Mary Elizabeth in the centre, the more I look at this one the more I think she may have to stay here and live with me.
That's my lot for today, I really need to get a move on if I want to have a decent amount come June, seems there's always something else to do, or another blog to look at!

All your craft goodies look great...I wish I could paint decent roses...the few I've tried always look "so-so", hence I don't bother painting them now...I prefer the tried & true easy ones like - daisies or sunflowers. Hmmm, think I should paint myself a "Craftroom" sign...lol

Marina, everything looks great!! Not that I expected anything different from you!! You always do amazing work. I agree, I think I'd have to keep Mary Elizabeth at home also. She's just too precious!!

You have to keep Mary Elizabeth. She is too darling to sell at any price!
